Women-led executive organization to lead franchise operations, strategic growth, and community engagement for WNFC team.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ATLANTA — Tri-Legacy Sports Group (TLSG) has been appointed as the operating partners of the Atlanta Truth, a professional women's football franchise in the Women's National Football Conference (WNFC). The appointment, announced by WNFC leadership, positions the women-led executive organization to oversee all aspects of the franchise's strategic direction, football operations, business development, and community engagement.
Tri-Legacy Sports Group was founded by Dr. Pamela Larde, Dr. Sonayia "Sony" Shepherd Akinlade, and Dionne L. Mack—three accomplished leaders who collectively bring decades of executive experience across education, healthcare, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
"This appointment represents an important step forward for the Atlanta market and reinforces our broader commitment to partnering with groups who are prepared to build with intention, accountability, and ambition," said Odessa Jenkins, Founder and Chairwoman of the Women's National Football Conference. "Their singular goal is clear: to make Atlanta the strongest and most impactful WNFC market in the league."
As operating partners, TLSG holds full responsibility for building durable infrastructure that reflects the future of women's professional football grounded in operational excellence, equity, and sustainable growth.
"Women's professional football is entering a defining era, and we intend to lead that growth in Atlanta," said Dr. Pamela Larde, Chief Executive Officer of Tri-Legacy Sports Group. "We are building a franchise that sets the standard for what professional women's football can become and demonstrating what women's athletics achieve when resourced and led with intention."
"Operational excellence and athletic excellence go hand in hand," said Dr. Sonayia Shepherd Akinlade, Chief Operating Officer of Tri-Legacy Sports Group. "Our commitment is to create the infrastructure, culture, and systems that allow these athletes to compete at their highest level while building something sustainable for the long term."
"The Atlanta Truth is a platform for community, opportunity, and impact," said Dionne L. Mack, Chief Strategy Officer of Tri-Legacy Sports Group. "We are here to deepen the connection between this franchise and the greater Atlanta community and to create meaningful pathways for fans, partners, and sponsors to be part of this moment in women's sports."
